Tara Gray Continuing Education Bursary

The Tara Gray Continuing Education Bursary is inspired by an exceptional individual who gave so much of her time to CVALA board members, teachers and learners, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of working with her and learning from her.

Tara served as the Executive Director of Central Valley Adult Learning Association from its inception in 2008 until 2022. She was the glue that held everything together in those early years of operation. Her dedication for improving the educational experience of adult learners working toward their GED remains a core influence on the growth and development of CVALA today.

Always going above and beyond, Tara often donated many hours above her scheduled work time to ensure the smooth running of the organization. Even since leaving her position with CVALA, she remains committed to adult education and is focused on the success of the learners. Her passion for community service and helping others is her guiding light.

This bursary honours Tara’s years of devotion to CVALA and adult education.
