Administrative Team
Laura Burris - Executive Director
Laura Burris joined CVALA in 2021 and leads the organization’s operations, programs, and community partnerships. With over eight years of experience in the non-profit sector, she works closely with staff, learners, and stakeholders to support adult education across the Central Valley region.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Saint Vincent University and a Human Resource Management Certificate from Fleming College.
Emily Morrissey - Operations Manager
Emily supports day-to-day operations, coordinates the CAEC Testing Centre, and oversees accommodations requests.
With a background in Business Administration and experience in community-based organizations, Emily is passionate about helping adults reach their goals and creating supportive learning environments.
