Laura Burris
Executive Director
Laura Burris began working for Central Valley Adult Learning Association Inc. in 2021. As the Executive Director, she works closely with its members and stakeholders to achieve strategic goals. Laura has over eight years of experience working in the not-for-profit sector, and community programs.
Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Mount Saint Vincent University and her Human Resource Management Certificate at Fleming College.

Emily Morrissey
Operations Manager / Testing Adminstrator
Emily's main motivation is giving back to her community. She believes that working at CVALA is more than just a job as it is actively helping others achieve their goals.
Emily graduated from NBCC with a diploma in Business Administration and is currently completing a Human Resource Management Certificate at Fleming College.. During her schooling, she interned at local community center and she fell in love with Not-for-Profit organizations and decided to use her skills towards supporting other organizations that share her values and beliefs.
